Macaron? Not me! I’m someone who isn’t a sweet tooth. Sugar is not normally my friend. But thanks to the couple Maylynn and Hugh are the ‘masterchef’ of La Belle Miette, I fell in love with Macaron in Melbourne.

La Belle Miette is a small French patisserie, specialty, gluten-free macarons are one of Australia’s finest, known for its signature crumbly, smooth-textured meringue shells. Each macaron is handmade using of pure and exquisite ingredients.

La Belle Miette is located in the heart of the city, but once inside you feel like you’re in France. The decor looks like it’s been taken straight out of a french illustration book. An touch of elegant pastel interior and a colourful of macarons selections lean on a marble bench welcome you when you step into La Belle

Colorful Macarons

And here, we’re enjoying our macarons and tea

A lovely rose macaron which was made with a rose petal oil which gave it a strong and pure flavour and the smell of rose was so good.

The violet and blueberry was the most interesting flavour combination. The creamy vanilla and fruity blueberry.

Their best-seller, the salted caramel, a hand-harvested salt, and really smooth butter. A smooth caramel ganache with that slight hint of salt. The biscuit was hard on the outside but super soft and chewy all over on the inside, and the ganache had the right amount of silkiness and creaminess.
